Antelope Valley Desert Riders will host a second play day on Sunday, April 28th, 2013. This will be another fun day with events not typically run at AVDR. Like last time, we will run 5 events and the cost will be the same, $20 / rider which will get you one run at each event. Sunny Sargent and Wendy Mesny are working hard to put this together, and have already secured sponsors for the High Point awards that will be given at the end of the day. Since this will be in the Spring and the Antelope Valley will be warming up, the play day will have a beach theme.

The event schedule has been revised for the remaining season to include a minimum of six events per show and a barrel run at each show. Barrel runs in parentheses are for time only or schooling runs and do not count toward year end awards. Also note that we have set aside a couple of dates for makeup shows, in case one of the regular season shows get canceled because of foul weather. If you are a member and have registered on this site but have not received any confirmation emails, please check your junk/spam email folder. To view photos from past shows, click on the main menu tab called "Photos". This will take you to a photo gallery where you can view photos from AVDR events. The Photo Gallery is also mobile friendly (well sort of), meaning that if you visit the gallery on a mobile device, you will be able to use your finger to swipe through the photos in the gallery. Hopefully I can also figure out how to pull random photos from the gallery and display on the front page where the current slide show above is playing now.
